She was predeceased by: her husband Jim. She is survived by: her daughter Aine; her son-in-law James; her grandson Seamus; her sister Mary Jo; her brother-in-law Preston; her brothers, Patrick, Tim and J. C.; her sister-in-law Nora; her nieces, Cordelia and Anna-Marie; and her nephew Tim.

After serving as an ICU nurse in both London and Houston for 11 years, she worked at the Villa de Matel in Houston, Texas until her retirement in 2013, providing care for the Sisters of Charity of the Incarnate Word in their retirement.
