She was predeceased by: her parents, John Adams and Isabelle Adams; and her siblings, Lillie Adams, Mary Dabney, Joe, Clowzell and Leroy Adams.

She is survived by: her daughter Tamara Adams (Morris); her grandchildren, Antonio Adams, Raeanna Rowan, Erika, Eric Jamerson, Monifah Parrish-Idugboe (Bruno), Latifah Parrish (Paul) and Shaquille Adams; her great grandchildren, Calayah, Syncere, Hazel, Maize, Aiden, Magic, Alliyah and Princess; and her sisters, Lynn Smith, Marlene and Mickie Adams. She is also survived by nephews, nieces, family, and friends.
