He was predeceased by: his parents, Roscoe Girard and Mabel Girard (Stockman); his wife Virginia Rose Trobaugh; and his siblings, Hazel Girard, Virgil Girard, Leona Kucera, Eileen Thompson, Annabell Howard, Harold Girard, Vaughn Girard, Shelba Wilson and Willis Girard.

He is survived by: his daughter Kim Culver (Greg) of Farmington; his grandchildren, Wendy Altman (Jeff) of Chalmers, IN, Kacey Bohanan of Dunlap, Rachel Meardy (Mike) of Bartonville, Jeremy Culver of Ohio and Joseph Culver (Jess) of Sparland; and his friend Sue Anderson.

Memorials may be made to Bartonville United Methodist Church or to the Farmington Volunteer Fire Department.
