She was predeceased by: her parents, Marshall Thompson and Elva Hummel Thompson; and her brother Charles Thompson. She is survived by: her spouse H. E. "Gene" Vaughn; her children, Susan Root (Kevin) of Hoopeston, IL and Mike Vaughn (Rebecca) of Washington, IL; her brother Marshall Thompson of Champaign, IL; and her grandchildren, Karsen Root, Rhys Root, Owen Root, Carly Vaughn and Ella Vaughn.
