Jerry L. Riekena Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jerry L. Riekena in Unity, Illinois, born in Peoria, Illinois, who passed away on November 22, 2020, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Harvey Riekena and Florence Riekena (Hammerich). He is survived by: his children, Jerie Lynn Chambers (Russ) of Mapleton, Illinois and Danny Riekena (Linda Melton) of Mapleton, Illinois; his stepchildren, John Walters (Lori) of Morton and Karen Smolczyk (Rick) of Mapleton, Illlinois; and his stepgrandchildren, Tyler, Nate, Chase, Madison, Haley, Jared, Seth and Chloe.

Due to the Covid restrictions, graveside services will be at 2 P. M. Friday, November 27, 2020 at the Smithville Cemetery.
