With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Chapman D. Faurot in Unity, Illinois, born in Hyde Park, Massachusetts, who passed away on July 24, 2022 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Doris Moore and Robert Agustin Faurot; and his siblings, Robert and Loyal. He is survived by: his children, Lynn Faurot Thompson (Rod) of Peoria, IL and Mark (Tracy) of Leesburg, FL.; and his grandchildren, Matthew Rodman Thompson of Peoria, Allison Leigh (Thompson) and Hohulin (Alec) of Castle Rock, CO..
In lieu of flowers, Chap expressed a wish for donations to be made to EPIC (Empowering People. Inspiring Capabilities) to honor the work of his daughter and grandchildren, EPICCI.org. Memorials may also be made to the American Cancer Society or the organization of the donor's choice.
