Henry Grant Taylor Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Henry Grant Taylor of Ullin, Illinois, who passed away on December 26, 2024 at the age of 99. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John L. Taylor and Augusta Taylor (Peeler); his wife June Brown; and his siblings, Alemta Modglin, Lenora Knupp, Fae Smith and Glen Taylor.
He is survived by: his son Larry Taylor (Jerri) of Ullin; his grandchildren, Beth Dallas (Patrick), Laura Zanowski (Andrew) and Jason Crow; his great grandchildren, Tilman Dallas of Luke Dallas, J. J, Carson Dallas, Ellie Zanowski, Charlotte Zanowski, Lacey Crow and Lauren Crow; and his close friend Wilma Bass. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, December 30th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the First Lutheran Church. A funeral service was held on Monday, December 30th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the First Lutheran Church of Dongola. The military honors was held on Monday, December 30th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 2:30 PM at the Green Lawn Memorial Gardens.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests with gratitude that memorial contributions be made to the First Lutheran Church of Dongola.
