He was predeceased by: his parents, Norman Rankin and Lucille Rankin; and his siblings, Dallas Rankin, Edward Rankin, Landon Rankin, Joyce Heyduck and Fern Custer.
He is survived by: his children, Malissa Beer (Kevin) of Waverly, IL, Denise Horner (Kenton) of Dyersburg, TN, Lenny Beszczynski (Carrie) of Dongola, IL, Ricky Rankin of Ullin, IL and Rowdy Yates (Kirsten) of Montana; and his siblings, Gailen Rankin (Jake) of Salem and Nida Woodfall of Mt. Vernon. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Sutherland-Rankin Funeral Home and Cremation Services (310 N Broadway, Salem, IL 62801). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Sutherland-Rankin Funeral Home Chapel (310 N Broadway, Salem, IL 62801).
