She was predeceased by: her husband Estell Thomas; her children, Estell Thomas, Jr., Gloria Jean Evans and Joshua Thomas; and her granddaughter Camille Evans. She is also survived by 19 grandchildren, 29 great grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren.
