He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, James V. Chaney and Ida B. Wilcoxon Chaney; his wife Patricia M. Walters; his children, Susan Danielson (Geoffrey) of Tuscola and Michael Chaney (Carolyn) of Spaulding; his grandchildren, Christine Roughton (John), Zachary Danielson, Jessica Chaney, Matthew Chaney (Kristina) and Rebecca Chaney; his great grandchildren, Cameron, Easton and Thomas; and his brother James Chaney (Janice) of Lafayette, IN. He was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.
Private family services will be held due to the COVID pandemic.
