She was predeceased by: her parents, George Unverferth and Lola Miller Unverferth; and her spouse Thomas M. Hawkins, Sr.. She is survived by: her children, Thomas Hawkins, Jr. (Nancy) of Kansas City, MO, Donna Shepherd (Charley) of Cerro Gordo, Carol Meharry (Mark) of Tolono and Linda Morris (Mike) of Tuscola; her grandchildren, Tomi Suzanne Mattick (TJ), Noelle McNutt (Michael), Michael Hawkins (Brianna), Sarah Wamser, Anthony Sheperd, Paul Meharry, Lucas Meharry (Joella), Hannah Calhoun (Jacob), Casey Ehler, Kammy Kinyoun (John), Kurtis Kinyoun and Olivia Morris (Bradley); and her sister Joyce Martin of Danville. She is also survived by 20 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, October 11th 2024 from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the Hilligoss Shrader Funeral Home (705 S Main St, Tuscola, IL 61953). A funeral service was held on Friday, October 11th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
