With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Shirley Kay Gilbert (Tuscola, Illinois), who passed away on July 21, 2023 at the age of 71. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Robert William and Delores Jean McDade Swisher; her husband Alan "Bud" Gilbert; her children, Scott Gilbert, Rob Natalie and Amy Kauffman; her siblings, Ed Swisher (Lorie), Bob Wilkerson (Donna) of Danville, Barbara Herman of Cooks Mills and Brenda Montague (Richard) of Atwood; and her stepson David Mulvaney. She was also cherished by 15 grandchildren; and 12 great grandchildren.
Memorials are suggested to the Douglas County Animal Shelter or Transitions Hospice.
