She was predeceased by: her parents, John Novak and Mary Novak (Sykora); her husband Robert Meltzer Sr.; and her siblings, Charlotte Meltzer (Louie), Virginia Ryder (Jim) and Jim Novak (Joan).
She is survived by: her children, Robert Jr. (Linda Meltzer), John (Candy Meltzer), Charles "Chuck" (Anita Meltzer), Sue (Dan Demers) and Patricia (Thomas Bohm); her grandchildren, Jill (Daan), Stacy (Chris), Scott, Jason (Morgan), Chad, Matthew (Hailey), Rebecca (Aubrey), Elizabeth (Brady), Emily and Anna; her great grandchildren, Niels, Ian, Jocelyn, Laney, Maddy, Kensley, Emerson, Macklin and Blaine; and her brother John Novak (Lela). She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Memorials may be made to the Tuscola Fire Department or the Tuscola Police Department.
