He was predeceased by: his parents, Homer McConkey and Nora Bailey McConkey; and his brother Bill McConkey. He is survived by: his wife Nancy C. McGuire; his children, Johnnie McConkey (Laura) of Palm Bay, FL, David McConkey of Arcola, Donnie McConkey (Tracy) of Micco, FL and Rhonda Ledbetter (Jack) of Tuscola; and his brother Bob McConkey of Oakland, IL.. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren.
