She was predeceased by: her parents, Roy R. Rutledge and Beulah Mae Rutledge (Trissel); her siblings-in-law, Christina "Sink" Rutledge and James Baldwin; her niece Pamela Rutledge; and her nephew Kevin Rutledge.
She is survived by: her husband Donald Newton Kidwell; her siblings, Dallas Rutledge (Linda) of Urbana, Illinois and Peggy Baldwin of Asheboro; her nieces and nephews, James Rutledge (Lori) of Effingham, Yvonne Kershaw (John) of Fredericton, Shannon Dwigans (Jeff) of Asheboro, Brian Rutledge (Beth) of Tuscola, Theresa Cherry (John Paul) of Charlotte, Leslie Chenoweth of Tuscola, Katie Nordgren (Michael) of Terre Haute, E. J. Dwigans (Anne) of Hendersonville, Natalie Onuska (Nick) of Greenwood, Jacob Kershaw of Fredericton, Hannah Pinhorn (Daniel) of London and Nicole Slavens (Andrew) of Effingham, Illinois; and also, Kylie Slavens, Sophie Nordgren, Derek Slavens and Isaac Dwigans.
