He was predeceased by: his parents, Giles Franklin and Ida Mackey Cothron; and his brothers, Wayne and Richard Cothron. He is survived by: his children, Derrick Cothron (Jean) of Tuscola, Fran M. Heinz of Tuscola, Dedee Hoel (Duff) of Tuscola and Angie Ranson (Matt) of Bloomington; and his grandchildren, Dillon Hoel, Dalton Hoel, Luke Heinz, Annie Heinz, Haden Cothron, Ava Cothron, Zeb Ranson and Zeke Ranson. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
