Though Leona may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Leona touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her brother Christian; her niece Hannah Grace Miller; and her great-nephew David Yoder. She is survived by: her parents, Melvin Richard and Lydia Ann Miller (Mast) of Tuscola, IL; and her siblings, Lynn Miller (Gracia) of Arthur, Matthew Miller (Kathryn) of Tuscola, IL, Linda Yoder (Mervin) of Dixon, MO, Jo Ann Miller (Willis) of Windsor, MO and Janeen Schrock (David) of Pleasant Hill, IL. She is also survived by 32 nieces and nephews, and 54 great-nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, March 8th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Sunday, March 9th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM at the Das Holz Haus Cabinet Shop (573 N Co Rd 325 E, Tuscola, IL 61953). A funeral service was held on Monday, March 10th 2025 at 9:00 AM at the same location.
