With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Leatha Romine of Tuscola, Illinois, born in Ridge Farm, Illinois, who passed away on September 12, 2023 at the age of 97. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Luther Sanderson and Nettie Hendrix Sanderson; her former husband Joseph Johnson; her sons, Jack H. Johnson and Charles Romine; her grandchildren, Jim Johnson, Brad Benson and Tammy Ludwig; and her siblings, John, David, Laura, Marguerite, Dorothy, Luther, Walter, Donald, Catherina, Kenneth and Jesse.
She is survived by: her husband Ervin Romine; her daughters-in-law, Pat Johnson of Atwood and Gloria Romine of Arizona; and her grandchildren, Jeff Johnson (Anja), Joanne Johnson, Nicki DeGrofft, Alicia Carder, Todd Romine, Penny Boyd (Nate), Benjamin Romine and Petrina Murphy (Travis). She is also survived by 22 great-grandchildren and 14 great-great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.
