With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Jean Chesnut Woods (Tuscola, Illinois), born in Granite City, Illinois, who passed away on March 21, 2020 at the age of 93. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Vista Jane Bohannan and Walter Charles Lewis; and her former husband Floyd Dean Chesnut. She is survived by: her husband Cecil Richard Woods; her children, Judy Milburn (William) of Westville, IL, Joie McDonald (Fred) of Tuscola, IL, Jim Chesnut (Kathy) of Garland, TX and Rod Chesnut (Susan) of Flower Mound, TX; and her sisters, Virginia McKinney of Dieterich, IL and Terry Fritschle (Dean) of Newton, IL. She is also survived by 15 grandchildren, 32 great-grandchildren and 6 great-great-grandchildren.
Memorial donations may be made to the Tuscola First Christian Church.
