We are sad to announce that on April 14, 2020, at the age of 83, Helen East (Tuscola, Illinois), born in Sullivan, Illinois passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Lee and Pearl Abbott Horn; her husband John East of Mattoon; her brother Leon Horn (Doris); her brothers-in-law, Dean Dudley and Rocky; and also Yorkshire Terrier.
She is survived by: her former spouse Carroll Chaney; her son Mark Chaney (Kathy Chaney) of Merritt Island, Florida; her grandson Josh Chaney of Springfield; her sister Ethelmae Dudley of Sullivan; and her stepdaughters, Tonya Willison (Keith) of Mattoon and Cindy Hagerman (Greg) of Chesterfield, Missouri. She is also survived by 2 granddaughters; 3 grandsons; 4 great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Memorials may be made to the ASPCA, St. Jude's Teaching Hospital, or the donor's choice.
