It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dean M. Chesnut of Tuscola, Illinois, born in Muddy, Illinois, who passed away on August 13, 2021, at the age of 98, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawrence Chesnut and Oval Chesnut (Gossman); his former wife Eileen Woods; his spouse Jessie Davis; his son Dennis Chesnut; his stepmother Laverne Chesnut (Tate); and his sister Mae Toppe.
He is survived by: his former wife Mildred Morgan; his children, Ron Chesnut (Marsha) of Round Rock, TX and Kathy Bokor (Joe) of Tuscola; his stepdaughter Twila James of Riverton; his grandchildren, Shannon Patterson (Katie) of Homer, Jason Patterson of Tuscola, Cady Timmons (Aaron) of Houston, TX, Madison Chesnut of Frisco, TX, Nicole Graham (Bryan) of Cashiers, NC and Chris Moushon (John) of Springfield; and his siblings, Ralph Chesnut of Wheeler and Donna Galloway (Leo) of Newton. He is also survived by 9 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandchild.
