He was predeceased by: his parents, Everett Reifsteck and Opal Rahn Reifsteck; and his brothers, Dean and Dan Reifsteck. He is survived by: his children, Michael Reifsteck of Tuscola, Sherri Reifsteck of Arcola and Tim Reifsteck (Jennifer) of Tuscola; his grandchildren, Dustin Schum, Cody Schum, Brandon Reifsteck, Taylor Reifsteck, Haley Reifsteck and Kaitlyn Reifsteck; his great grandchildren, Andrew Fonner, Alexander "Xander" Schum and Kai Reifsteck; and his siblings, Denny Reifsteck (Theresa) of Pesotum, Duane Reifsteck (Chris) of Sidney, Donald Reifsteck (Pam) of Tolono, Douglas Reifsteck (Jody) of Tolono, Dexter Reifsteck (Sue) of Tolono, Delbert Reifsteck of Pesotum, Daman Reifsteck (Kathy) of Tolono, Darin Reifsteck (Karen) of Villa Grove, Diann O'Donnell (Bill) of Champaign, Darlene Wiesener of Tuscola, Donna Grimm (Jeff) of Villa Grove, Deborah Daily (Stephen) of Tolono and Darla Walker (Brian) of Urbana.

Visitation was held on Sunday, October 27th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the St. Paul's Lutheran Church (101 E Church St, Sadorus, IL 61872). A funeral service was held on Monday, October 28th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the same location.

Memorials are suggested to St. Paul's Lutheran Church or to the Douglas County Animal Shelter.
