It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Bessie Benner of Tuscola, Illinois, who passed away on October 31, 2023, at the age of 98, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Jerome E. Wells and Hazel Trenary Wells; her husband James E. Benner; her son James Benner; her grandchildren, Cheryl Crist, Jason Crist and Angela Ruby Allen; and her siblings, Jerome Wells, Alfredia Warner, Flossie Harrison and Jessie Jewell.
She is survived by: her daughters, Shirley Postlewait (Danny) of Arthur, Sharon Dillon (David) and Janet Ruby. She is also survived by 7 grandchildren and many great-grandchildren.
