It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Walter M. Lewis (Troy, Illinois), born in Granite City, Illinois, who passed away on July 13, 2019, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Lloyd Lewis and Mary Ellen Lewis (Woodsworth); and his son-in-law Walt Ordway. He is survived by: his wife Roberta Lewis of Troy, IL; his children, Cheryl Reisenleiter (John) of Granite City, IL, Christine Ordway of Holts Summit, MO and Michael Lewis (Robin) of Staunton, IL; and his grandchildren, Brooke Streicher of Bethalto, IL, Jennifer Tilson (Newton) of Granite City, IL, Kyle Hoelscher (Tiffany) of Baytown, TX, Cole Hoelscher (Raks) of Santa Rosa, CA, Madilyn Hill (Jason) of Marine, IL, Jacob Lewis (Abbie Peterson) of Naples, FL, Tyler Seago (Karly) of Collinsville, IL and Tori Seago of Staunton, IL. He is also survived by one great-great-grandchild on the way in September; extended family and many dear friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be given to Unity Church in Granite City, IL or to St. Johns Adult Day Care in Collinsville, IL.
