It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Vivi V. Acedo of Troy, Illinois, born in Hayden, Arizona, who passed away on December 3, 2020, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Francisco Acedo and Julia Acedo; her brother Steve Aced; and her brother-in-law Reid Scudder. She is survived by: her close friend Eugene Grimm of Redwood City, CA; her children, Maya Gierse (Chris) of Troy, IL and Quetzal Grimm (Dena) of Redwood City, CA; her grandsons, Mark Baker (Aly), Andrew Taylor (Caitlin Kneemiller), Cole Gierse (Isabelle Estep), Dylan and Owen Grimm; her great grandchildren, Zoey Baker, Isaac Thornton, Dylan Kenworthy and Cameron Coleman; and her siblings, Marta Acedo (Maureen Linehan), Yolanda Scudder, Frank Acedo and Gilbert Acedo (Nancy Siles). She is also survived by 3 nieces and 7 nephews.
