He is survived by: his wife Theresa Schmitt (Terri); his sons, Michael and Andy Schmitt (Lisa); his grandchildren, Raleigh, Bryley, Jaxon and Madelyn; his aunt Ruth Schmitt; his cousins, Karen Bowker (Bob) of Cedar Park, TX, Marcia Pridgen (Bill) of Spring Hill, FL, Jim Schmitt (Cassandra) of Josephville, MO and Rev David Schmitt (Terri) of Bridgeton; his brother-in-law Larry Ponce (Vicki) of Troy, IL; his nephew Nicholas Ponce (Dusty) of Pleasant Plains, IL; and his niece Lindsay Jones (Brandon) of Sappington, MO..
