It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Shirley A. Matthews of Troy, Illinois, who passed away on February 28, 2022, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Fred Droy and Elberta Droy (Strong); and her brother Robert Droy. She is survived by: her husband Robert Matthews; her daughter Sheila L. Mikes of Edwardsville; and her granddaughters, Jenny Ziegler and Tara Lohmeier (Mike). She is also survived by three great grandchildren.

The family request memorials to Vitas Hospice in care of Weber & Rodney Funeral Home at 304 N. Main Street, Edwardsville, IL 62025.
