He is survived by: his wife Bonnie Jean Parres (Hornbeck); his son-in-law Justin Barnhart of Ellisville, Missouri; his stepson Tyler Lewis of Troy, Illinois; his sons, Drew Parres of Troy and Jacob Parres of Troy, Illinois; his grandchildren, Benjamin and Jaxon Barnhart of Ellisville, Missouri; his brothers, Thomas (Loretto Parres), Ronald Parres of Alton, Lawrence (Victoria Parres) and John (Crystal Parres); his sister-in-law Cynthia Parres-Dillard of Kansas City, Missouri; and his mother-in-law Bonnie Hornbeck of Troy, Illinois. He is also survived by many nieces; nephews; other extended family, co-workers and friends.
