We are sad to announce that on September 8, 2024, at the age of 91, Rita Gilomen of Troy, Illinois, born in Highland, Illinois passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Richard Gilomen; her son-in-law David Berry; her parents, Elmer Frey and Agnes Frey; and her siblings, Joe, Elmer (Cy Frey), Evelyn Schmidt and Alice (Marianne Carillon).
She is survived by: her daughters, Dee Berry of Glen Carbon, IL and Shelley Gilomen of Troy, IL; and her sister Rosemary Kloss of Highland, IL. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friend.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 19th 2024 at 9:00 AM at the St. Paul's Catholic Church (1412 9th St, Highland, IL 62249).
