We are sad to announce that on February 23, 2023, at the age of 88, Richard Hughes of Troy, Illinois, born in Malden, Missouri passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Pansy Hughes; his parents, Lee S. Hughes and Bessie Hughes; and his daughters, Barbara Collins (James) of Troy, IL, Linda Buckingham (Dennis) of Troy, IL and Rhonda Rea (Mark) of Fort Myers, FL. He was also cherished by 10 grandchildren and 30 great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends.

Memorials may be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
