With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Myrna Steele of Troy, Illinois, who passed away on January 20, 2023 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband Daniel Steele; her parents, Clement Cook and Gertrude Cook; and her siblings, Phyllis Rankin, Glenn, Raymond and Donald Cook.

She is survived by: her children, Janet Wilson of Troy, IL, Keith Steele (Linda) of Pocahontas, IL, Bruce Steele (Judy) of Troy, IL and Annette Menchak (Frank) of Troy, IL; her grandchildren, Brian Steele (Tami), Ryan Wilson (Kim), Christina Hewitt (Luke), Leigh Ann Smith (Jake), Andrew Steele (Sarah), William Menchak (Chelsea), Allison Seithel (Steve) and Danielle Gagne (Zachary); and her siblings-in-law, Jackie Cook and Richard D. "Harpo" Rankin. She is also survived by nieces, nephews and many dear friends.
