We are sad to announce that on November 4, 2021 we had to say goodbye to Michael Omatsu of Troy, Illinois, born in Honolulu, Hawaii. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Yasumi Omatsu and Miyeko Omatsu. He is survived by: his wife Susan; his daughters, Anna Raymer (Bryan) and Leslie Crouch (Daniel); his grandchildren, Xander, Mina, Emily, Cooper, Collin and Evie; his brothers, Patrick, Stephen and Sean Omatsu; and his close friends, Sheila Sumpter and Elizabeth Burns.

In Lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials be made to donor's choice.

“Just learned of Michael’s passing today as noted in the USCG’s Retiree Newsletter LONG BLUE LINE”. I was a classmate of Mike’s in Class 3-77 of the CG’s OCS during the summer & fall of 1977 in Yorktown, VA. So sad to learn of Mike’s passing & wish to pass on my sincere condolences to his wife & extended family.
