He was predeceased by: his parents, James and Doris; and his brothers, James T. Lyles and Michael A. Lyles. He is survived by: his children, Larry J. Lyles, Jr., David A Lyles (Sarah), Bonnie J. Penelton (Floyd) and Sheila Stephens (Dustin); and his brother Jerry Lyles (Linda Gail). He is also survived by 15 grandchildren; 1 great granddaughter.
