She was predeceased by: her parents, Kearney Grace and Allie Grace (Wells); and her husband James "Jim" Brendel. She is survived by: her sisters, K. June Miller of Kansas City and Eleanor Carico (Donnie) of Bristol, Tennessee; her son Michael Steven Lyons of Jacksonville, Florida; her grandchildren, Alex Lyons of Lakeport, Sarah Lyons of Palatka and Solace Lyons of Deltona, Florida; and her great grandchild Adalynn J. Tubbs of Palatka, Florida. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
