It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jesse Donald Cimino of Troy, Illinois, born in Highland, Illinois, who passed away on March 12, 2025, at the age of 43, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his father Michael Shafer; and his grandfathers, Donald Cimino and Edward "Ed" Shafer (Lois). He is survived by: his daughters, Tristen Cimino (Zachary Rutherford) of O'Fallon, IL and Payton Cimino of Troy, IL; his stepson Landon Smith of Highland, IL; his mother Catherine Cimino-Kimme (Gary Dobrinich) of Pierron, IL; his siblings, Ashley Bequette (Chad) of Trenton, IL, Jessica Alberter (Ryan) of St. Louis, MO, Autumn Frazier (Theodore) of Live Oak, FL and Jeremy Shafer (Luciano) of Festus, MO; and his grandmother Kay L. Sellens of Aurora, CO. He is also survived by nieces nephews, cousins and friends.
Visitation was held on Thursday, March 20th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Richeson Funeral Home (205 Edwardsville Rd, Troy, IL 62294). A funeral service was held on Thursday, March 20th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location.
