It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Kirkman Franklin Jr. of Troy, Illinois, born in Peoria, Illinois, who passed away on April 12, 2024, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, James Kirkman Franklin Sr. and Willie (Ruby Leona Hall); and his sister Sue Hearty. He is survived by: his wife Patricia Franklin; his daughters, Sarah (Randall) and Ashley Pashea (Joseph) of Owensboro, KY; his grandchildren, Juno, Jack, Ava and Bodhi; and his siblings, Kevin Hall, Keith Hall (Marsha) of Dupo and Nora LaCroix (James) of Dupo. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
