He was predeceased by: his parents, James Knox Polk and Dorothy Hinckle; his son-in-law Tom Epperson; and his sister Lorraine Stauffer. He is survived by: his wife Mary L. Hinckle; and his children, Carol Epperson of Troy, IL, Becky Garland (Bob) of Brighton, IL, Jean Strazar (Tony) of Brighton, IL and Joe Hinckle (Carrie Heflin) of Bunker Hill, IL. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great- grandchildren; many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
