She was predeceased by: her husband Bernard A. Hafertepe; her sons, Steven M. and Bernard H. Hafertepe; her parents, Emil Tarjany and Charlotte Tarjany; and her siblings, Albert Tarjany, Cecelia Usery and Marie Gusewelle.
She is survived by: her children, Chris Hafertepe (Gina) of Jacob, IL, Charlotte Schultz (Robert) of Anna, IL and Tina Auld (David) of Troy, IL; and her brother Emil Tarjany of Troy, IL.. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren; 36 great-grandchildren and 14 great-great-grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to St. Jerome Catholic Church or Vitas Hospice.
