Lanahan and Mary Lanahan; his parents, Edward Lanahan and Margaret Viola Lanahan; his siblings, Carroll J. Lanahan, James Lanahan and Mary Katherine Lanahan; his children, Gerald "Joe" Lanahan Jr. (Susan) of Sunrise Beach, MO, Kenneth P. Lanahan (Debra) of Davenport, FL, Cynthia Lanahan of Collinsville, IL and Nancy Douglas (Bobby) of Troy, IL; his grandchildren, Joshua Lanahan (Nicole), Janell Jones (Travis), Justin Lanahan (Amanda), Matthew Lanahan (Cristina), Kari Zavaglia (Garrett), Jennifer Flores (Leonardo III), Elizabeth Jester (Jon), Kimberly Douglas, Joshua Douglas (Annie), Laura Douglas, Jesse Lanahan and Nicole Lanahan; his great grandchildren, Rianne, Samantha, Devin, Colton, Kailynn, Scarlett, Logan, Barrett, Ada, Keirsten, Jonathan, Isabelle, Jillian, Leonardo IV, Michael, Kathleen and Jayden; and his friend Betty Holshouser. He was also cherished by nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Memorials may be made to Shriners Hospital or St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
