It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Fred Herman Jr. of Troy, Illinois, born in Bowdle, South Dakota, who passed away on August 30, 2024, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Herman, Sr. and Mary Herman (Hettich); his former wife Rita; his wife Dorothy; and his siblings, Agatha Coffey, Edward Herman, Caroline Reinken, Tom Herman, LaVera Job (Elmer), LaVern Herman (Anna), Elton Herman (Rita) and Dorothy Dobberpuhl (Ray).
He is survived by: his brother Barney Herman of Aberdeen, SD; his children, Kimberly Herman of Lake Ozark, MO, Michelle Hinkle (Scott) of Lake Ozark, MO and Todd Herman (Susan) of Troy, IL; and his grandson Julian Atencio (Samantha).
