She was predeceased by: her husband Donald Ackerman; her grandson Kevin Simpson; her parents, Wilbur Wille and Margaret Wille; and her siblings, Dale, Robert Wille and Judith Preast.
She is survived by: her children, Donald Ackerman (Jane) of Festus, MO, Karen Simpson (Louis) of Edwardsville, IL, Patty Jameson (Rusty) of Collinsville, IL, Kay Gendron (Charles) of St. Charles, MO and Diane Dunigan (Doug) of Troy, IL; and her sisters, Maryann Forcade of Alton, IL and Geraldine Zobrist of Troy, IL. She is also survived by 17 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, November 12th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Paul's Lutheran Church (112 N Border St, Troy, IL 62294). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, November 12th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
