It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Doris Astrauskas of Troy, Illinois, born in East Saint Louis, Illinois, who passed away on October 2, 2022, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband John T. Astrauskas; and her parents, Estelle Conway and Ray Conway. She is survived by: her children, Mike Astraukas (Donna) of Troy, IL, Sue Grodzicki (Rich) of Troy, IL, Diane Walkenbach (Rick) of Troy, IL and Chris Goodenberger (Dan) of Festus, MO; her grandchildren, Rick Grodzicki, Laurie Gough (Kevin), Lana Brown (Chris), Kent Grodzicki, Nick Astrauskas, Katie Astrauskas (Travis Moudy), Kurt Walkenbach (Dominic Para), Blake Fuhler, Kali Patterson (Kyle) and Dori Cash (Kyle); and her great grandchildren, Owen, Ellie Grodzicki, Chloe, Claire Gough, Caleb, Cayden Brown, Emma Grodzicki, Adelynn, Alexander Moudy, Eli, Zeke, Nora Fuhler, Scarlett, Layla Patterson, Grady and Gavin Cash.

Memorials may be made to St. John the Baptist Cemetery or St. Jerome Catholic Church.

“So sorry to see your Mom has passed. I never saw anything about it or I would have been there in person to tell you how sorry I am. Your Mom was a wonderful person and a true friend to my Mom and Dad. I have wonderful memories of the time growing up visiting the farm and our parents playing cards. Please take care of each other. That’s what they would want. Debbie Galloway”
