With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Dixie Jean Eason of Troy, Illinois, born in East Saint Louis, Illinois, who passed away on August 29, 2023 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Steve Stark and Imogene Stark; her son Larry Eason; and her sisters, Joyce Carey and Sharon Roberts.
She is survived by: her husband Floyd Eason; her children, David Eason, Margaret Eason and Shirley Kirk; her grandchildren, Bonnie Rheinhardt, Alyssa Eason, Sarah Halcomb, Elizabeth Burke, Dixie Sweeney, Chandler Eason, Kaleb Eason and Amanda Carpenter; her great grandchildren, Brett Burke, Jalin Gibson, Zachery Gibson, Alex Rheinhardt and Austin Rheinhardt; and her sisters, Doris Stay, Barbara Clark and Nancy Riggs. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
