Diane L. Earnest Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Diane L. Earnest of Troy, Illinois, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 2, 2025 at the age of 76. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, Diane shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Diane farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Raymond Earnest and Esther Earnest (Bauer); her brothers, Merlyn and Michael Earnest; and her nephew Timothy Blackwell.
She is survived by: her daughter Jennifer Gury Konopka (Dennis) of Troy, IL; and her sisters, Donna Simmons (Wayne) of East Peoria, Debra Blackwell (Robert) of Pottsboro and Dorothy Thompson of East Peoria. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
The family kindly requests that, in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions be made in Diane's name to Taps Animal Shelter, 100 TAPS Ln, Pekin, IL 61554.
