It is with great sadness that we announce the death of David Rieger of Troy, Illinois, who passed away on November 20, 2020, at the age of 66, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of David Rieger to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph and Dolores; his sisters-in-law, Gail Rieger and Erma Magness; his father-in-law Darwin Meier; and his nephews, Joe Rieger IV and Glenn Markway.
He is survived by: his wife Yvonne Meier; his siblings, Joe III (Laura) of Springfield, Ill., Bill of Peach Orchard, Ark., Ron (Mary) of Troy, Don (Elaine) of Carlinville and Sharon Kay Tosovsky (Tim) of Edwardsville; his mother-in-law Edna Meier of Troy; and his siblings-in-law, Paul Meier (Nancy) of St. Louis, Glenn Meier of St. Jacob and Carol Markway (Mick) of Kirkwood. He is also survived by nine nephews, three nieces, one great-nephew and two great-nieces.
Due to Covid-19 restrictions, there will be no visitation or service at this time.
