He was predeceased by: his granddaughter Ashley Hipp; his great grandchild Waylon Haggard; his parents, Roy Lewis and Mary Rose Lewis; and his brothers, Roy, Marion, William and Leslie Lewis.
He is survived by: his wife Darlene Lewis; his children, Ray Lewis (Sheila) of Troy, IL, Tina Haggard (Jack) of Troy, IL, Denise Hipp (Mitch) of Collinsville, IL, Joyce Carter (Bob) of Troy, IL, Roger Lewis (Tracy) of St. Jacob, IL and Ryan Lewis (Rachel) of Edwardsville, IL; his grandchildren, Crystal Middleton, Brooke Morris (Nathan), Parker Lewis, Blake Hardesty (Amber), Lindsay Bertles (Luke), Danielle Carter, Brianne Rehg (Jason), Tyler Lewis, Cole Haggard (Sheryl), Drew Lewis (Kristy), Chase Lewis, Carson Lewis, Jordan Lewis and Emma Lewis; and his sister Rita Baumgartner (Jerome) of New Baden, IL.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, December 29th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Monday, December 30th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Jerome Catholic Church (507 S Main St, Troy, IL 62294). A funeral Mass will be held on Monday, December 30th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
