It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Charles Leitner (Troy, Illinois), born in Edwardsville, Illinois, who passed away on June 19, 2019, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles P. Leitner and Minnie Leitner (Dettmer). He is survived by: his wife Dolores Brakhane; his children, Kathy Fox (Jerry) of Staunton and Michael Leitner (Karen) of Glen Carbon; his grandchildren, Laura Ormsbee (Kevin), Kristen Fox, Katelyn Fox, Anna Leitner and Emma Leitner; his great grandchildren, Zackary Fox, Kroy Ormsbee and Kylee Ormsbee; and his sisters, Louise Klaus (Milton) of Troy and Shirley Meikamp (Don) of Glen Carbon.
The Family request No flowers and donations can be given to either St. Louis Shriner's Hospital or St. Jude Children's Hospital in his honor.
