It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carole A. Cardinal of Troy, Illinois, born in Alexandria, Louisiana, who passed away on June 30, 2024, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parent Irving "Woody" Woodington; and her sister-in-law Suzanne Cardinal. She is survived by: her husband Gerald "Jerry" Cardinal; her children, Kelli Lafin (Michael) of Oswego and Jason Cardinal (Lyndsay) of Granite City, Illinois.; her grandchildren, Chase, Blake Lafin, Connor and Caroline Cardinal; her parent Maurice Woodington; her sister Susan Harrell (Charles) of Covington; her sister-in-law Terry Cardinal of New Hartford; her nieces and nephews, Brandon Harrell (Celeste), Chase Woodington, Michael Murray, Lauren Harrell, Tachele Ward (Joel), Jill Ulinski and Mary Lou Krawiec; and her child Jerry.
