He was predeceased by: his parents, Howard Bud and Frances Elizabeth Perkins (Bartlow); and his brother Larry. He is survived by: his wife Mary Kay Craley; his children, Wendy Perkins of Trivoli and Lance Perkins (Rachel) of Trivoli; his grandsons, Wyatt and Garrett; and his half-sister Sally.

Memorials may be made to the Logan/Trivoli Fire Department.
