She was predeceased by: her parents, Everett McElhaney and Dessie McElhaney (Sanders); her sisters, Audrey Banfield of Ormand Beach and Mary Ann Irvin of Bethalto, Illinois; her husband Virgil Hutton; and her daughter Nancy Hills.
She is survived by: her former husband Fred Gordon; her children, Patricia Goldstein (Ed) of Trilla, Margaret Kruse (Don) of Palos Heights, Illinois and Tom Gordon (Eva) of Florissant, Missouri; her son-in-law Gary Hills of Gays, Illinois; her grandchildren, Cindy Kershaw (Jeff), Curt Goldstein, Matthew Hills (Megan Markum), Amy Hills, Tim Kruse, Rebekah and Kara Gordon; and her great grandchildren, Logan, Olivia, Emma Kershaw and Kynnedi Goldstein.
